Foreign Remittance now made easy

Our NRE customers can directly remitt their funds to their accounts at all branches of  our Bank. There are two types of inward remittances available, i.e., Direct Remittance and SWIFT remittance.

DIRECT REMITTANCE

In this method the customer has to approach any exchange counter in the list which is convenient for him and give the amount for remitting the same to his a/c in our Bank. While filling up the transaction details in the exchange, he should give the details as follows–

This is the most safe and fast method to remit money from abroad. We have enclosed an exclusive list showing the foreign banks with whom the Axis Bank is having tie-up arrangements. The customer can select the bank based on the currency which he is remitting to the foreign Bank. For example if he is remitting in Saudi Riyals (SAR), then he has to approach Saudi Hollandi Bank or if he is having United Arab Emirates Dirhams(AED), then he should approach Mashreq Bank and in case of US Dollars the bank will be JP Morgan Chase Bank.

In these banks the customer will be asked to furnish details of your remittance. He can provide the information as follows –

After he submits the above details in the foreign bank, the amount will be first credited Axis Bank Account in India then simultaneously it will be further credited to our Bank’s Account with Axis Bank. Once we receive the amount for our Bank account, we will check the individual details and based on the information provided by the customer it will be credited to his NRE SB A/c with us immediately.

We sincerely hope the above two mode of funds transfer will be helpful for our customers to send money to their hometown. Since these electronic funds transfer is a rather new concept, our customer might have to face some initial trouble or annoyance but we request our customers not to give up the effort in one attempt.
